Funnily enough, Bentley, Rolls, Ferraris and Lambos are more and more being registered as taxis in London. Taxis are exempt from the Congestion Charge. Funny how it’s always the rich who think of the clever money saving scams first!

Nice. I wouldnt mind takn a ride in the super-charged joby (second from last). Of course, paying $4 a mile isnt exactly worth the ride. Still, the novelty of it is sure to attract some.
Pretty sure that I would pay more
but then again Id pay more if it was someone besides a damn paki driving in my city
I guess in some places a taxi driver wouldn’t be the last resort profession for immigrants.. but something for good drivers who could take pride in what they do
ref James Hughes’s comment. In Ireland the owner of Ryanair bought a taxi license so that he could use the bus lanes. All he had to do was install a meter on the passenger side. Considering he gets driven everywhere and sits in the back, this is not an issue. Cut at least an hour off his journey every day. An investment when you think of what he gets paid every hour. Probably paid for itself within a couple of days.
Lambo? Taxi?… damn sure, I’ll pay much more. So sweet!
Por Dios, amigo!! que taxis. Lo caro que deben costar los viajes.

jejeje, seguro que la carrera cuesta más que alquilar un auto! $$$$
reminds me of a taxi I saw in Monaco, a Mercedes S-class AMG, but that’s probably just Monaco. The lambo is the best, followed by the porche
i will if i was late going to the airport to catch the last plane for the week …
if all taxis were like this they wouldn’t be special.
Almost all the Taxis here in Denmark are either Mercedes or BMW’s, so its always a great ride.
What is wrong with a Fiat 128 or a Peugeot 506 or a Lada taxi ??!!! It is awesome as well…LOL
garydenness, you took that from top gear.
Last pic is from Melbourne. Funny, I thought I saw this taxi the other night

Someone watched top gear this week
The older I get, the less willing I am to climb into the back seat of a two-door, no matter how cool it is.
Honey, you can pick me up from the airport ANYTIME with those luxury cars
Give me the British mini-cab classic, a Toyota Previa in Burgundy, any day of the week…
The last picture is not Bentley it is Chrysler 300, American piece of shit car a cheap copy of Bentley
The “taco” taxi here is actually a prop, and doesn’t move (much) It’s owned by the Caliente Cab Company, which is a Mexican Restaurant chain in NYC.
It’s still mad sexy

And there’s a photo or two of the taxi in there.

The taxi on rims is cool
I wonder how much they charge
What if someone found a yellow lambo, put a taxi sign on the roof, took a picture and posted it on the net? Just putting it out there..
The “super-charged joby” is a prop from the SUPER lame movie Taxi.

Ignorant moron
whoops, didn’t read that one properly – it’s deleted. i’ve emailed him to try and get him on board here, the guy’s obviously a fountain of knowledge.
